Domo GRITS Fans,
My time with the GRITS has come to an end and I wanted to express my gratitude to each and every one of you – whether we got the chance to interact directly or you were just at the games cheering us on, your energy was felt and greatly appreciated. Your unwavering support and passion for the team has helped build this organization into what it is and made my time in Yokohama unforgettable.
I also want to thank our coaches, trainers, volunteers, management, and ownership group. The work everybody puts in behind the scenes to allow us to play this game doesn’t go unnoticed and what you guys have done with an expansion team is incredible and you should take a lot of pride in what you’ve built and will continue to build in the future.
From the electrifying GO GRITS GO chants from the fans echoing through the arena to the selfless support, kindness and encouragement offered by everyone in the organization – you guys are the driving force behind this team that makes everything on the ice possible. Your unwavering support and dedication inspires the team and we hope that shined through in our play.
I’m moving on to new adventures, but I wouldn’t trade my time in Japan for anything – I’ve got memories from our wins, lessons from our losses, and experiences I’ll never forget from my 4 months there. Thank you to everybody involved for all your support.
Wishing the team nothing but the best! Keep building it, time for the GRITS to get even GRITTIER next season.

GRITSで過ごした時間は終わりを迎えましたが、皆さん一人ひとりに感謝の気持ちを伝えたいと思います。 直接交流する機会があったにせよ、試合会場で応援してくださったにせよ、皆さんのエネルギーが常に感じられ、とても感謝しています。 皆さんの揺るぎないサポートとチームへの情熱が、この組織を作り上げ、私の横浜での時間を忘れられないものにしてくれました。
また、コーチ、トレーナー、ボランティア、経営陣、オーナーグループにも感謝します。 GRITS選手が試合をできるようにするために、皆さんが舞台裏で努力していることは、見過ごされる事は決してありません。 皆さんがこの新設チームで成し遂げてきたことは信じられないことであり、あなたたちが築き上げたもの、そしてこれからも築き上げるであろうものに、多くの誇りを持つべきです。
アリーナに響き渡るファンの熱狂的なGO GRITS GOのチャントから、組織内の全員の無私のサポート、優しさ、そして励ましまで、皆さんは氷上のすべてを可能にするこのチームの原動力です。 皆さんの揺るぎないサポートと献身がチームを鼓舞し、私たちのプレーにもそれが表れていることを願っています。
私は新たな冒険へと旅立ちますが、日本での時間は何にも代えがたいものでした。 勝利から得た思い出、敗北から得た教訓、そして日本での4ヶ月間の経験は決して忘れることはないです。 応援してくれた関係者の皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。
そしてチームの成功を祈っています！ 来シーズン、GRITSはさらにGRITTIER（勇気・気骨・根性のあるチーム）になって欲しいです！
